What: "Break the Chains" of Human Trafficking 5K Walk/Fun Run, sponsored by the Federal Way Coalition Against Trafficking
When: Saturday May 20th at 9:30 am
Where: Federal Way Farmer's Market (Sears Parking Lot)
Why: Human Trafficking is a problem that can affect anyone. Being on the The I-5 corridor, our community is one of the trafficking hot spots in our nation. As social workers, we must do our part to bring attention to this issue.
Cost: Registration as part of a student team is $15. Scholarships are available for those who would like to participate but are unable to pay.
Prizes will be awarded to largest student and community teams. This event will be not be timed. The UW Tacoma group will walk the event together.
